 Dr.
Scott Toussaint has been actively involved in leading his own
businesses, and improving the performance of his clients’
businesses, for more than 30 years. A Chicago native, he
started his first company, a small manufacturing business, at the
age of seventeen, and has built a total of four successful
businesses in his career, one of which grew to more than one
thousand employees.
Scott is Chairman and CEO of Toussaint and Company, founded in 1983,
which has been recognized as an Inc. 500 organization, making it one
of the country’s fastest growing privately held companies.
Scott is a hands-on leader who brings a fresh perspective to
consulting, executive coaching, curriculum development and business
development for the clients he serves. His experience has
ranged from helping Fortune 500 companies in the biotech and
pharmaceutical industries, to serving as COO and CEO on a contract
basis for smaller entrepreneurial companies. Scott has also
been privileged to consult for the State Department and the Reagan
White House.
Scott’s educational credentials include a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Illinois
in Chicago, as well as three Masters degrees and a Doctor of
Ministry degree from Heritage Baptist Seminary in Greenwood,
Indiana. He also has a Ph.D. in Communications and Leadership, with
Emphasis on Team Dynamics and Growth, from Louisiana Baptist
University. An ordained minister, Scott received a Doctor of
Theology degree in May 2008, also from Louisiana Baptist University.
Scott has served on a number of Boards,
including Conner Prairie, a living history museum in suburban
Indianapolis, and the Humane Society of Hamilton County (IN). He is
Past President of the Indiana Search and Staffing Association (ISSA).
Scott lives in Carmel, Indiana with his wife of 34
years, Janet. They have three grown children and three
grandchildren. |
